Public Speaking Coach, TEDx Speaker & Toastmasters Accredited Speaker
Maurice DiMino has spent more than 35 years turning presentations, pitches and leadership talks into results — using The DiMino Method to help speakers, leaders and sales teams say the right thing, the right way, every time.
Why Maurice
From Madison Avenue advertising to $1-million-a-month equipment sales to keynote stages in front of 20,000 people — Maurice's approach is built on decades of real deals, not theory.
The DiMino Presentation Template gives clients a repeatable, step-by-step way to build a clear, confident, call-to-action message — every time they present.
Boardrooms, breakout rooms, ballrooms and convention centers — Maurice tailors his interactive, entertaining style to whatever room he's asked to fill.
Organizations like IBM, Microsoft, the US Navy, The Chinook Group and Marriott have brought Maurice in and asked him back.
The credential
It is the one speaking credential Toastmasters International judges rather than awards for completing a curriculum — and most people who apply for it do not get it.
Candidates must have completed 25 speaking engagements for non-Toastmasters audiences of 20 or more people within three years, at least 15 of them paid.
A recorded presentation is scored by a panel; those who pass give a live presentation before judges at the International Convention and need 80 out of 100 from four of the five.
Ninety-five speakers worldwide earned it between 1981 and 2024. Maurice was one of six in 2018; Toastmasters reported at the time that fewer than 20 percent of applicants succeed.
Programs
From a single keynote to a multi-day intensive — every engagement is built around the outcome you need, not a fixed script.

Read moreThe method
The DiMino Method is what Maurice built from over 35 years of research and real-world experience — on Madison Avenue, in high-stakes equipment sales, and on stages in front of audiences from 20 to 20,000. It comes down to three simple, ownable principles that show up in every keynote, workshop and coaching session Maurice delivers.
In life, it is the person you show yourself to be to others that determines how high you will achieve. Maurice reminds every audience how to make the best of who they are with what they have.
What you say and do are the two things others use to decide whether to trust, respect and follow you. Maurice shares basic, practical steps of discipline that align your integrity with how you show up to the world.
How you communicate and build connections with colleagues, clients and others determines your level of success. Maurice's simple structure helps your team build the bonds that carry them, and your organization, forward.
The method, in his words
Taken from the articles he wrote while doing the work. The thinking behind The DiMino Presentation Template, in sentences short enough to use tomorrow.
Content
Read the article“We call these ‘Golden Nuggets.’ They are short and to the point factoids we share with the audience. It is these golden nuggets that the audience craves.”
Discipline
Read the article“Whatever time the host has given you to speak, you say yes to that time. Then you write out a presentation that is five minutes less than the time you were given. I have used this tip for over ten years and I have never gone over time.”
Selling
Read the article“What is the result my audience will achieve by using my product, my service? We have to be constantly asking ourselves that as we are preparing.”
Story
Read the article“I keep a story file in my computer and file cabinet. As I craft my speech, I first put down the content. Then I go back and find a story that would illustrate the point.”
Delivery
Read the article“I coined the phrase ‘true eye contact’ because I want my clients to understand the difference between mundane eye contact and what they need to do to come across as a professional speaker.”
Nerve
Read the article“I am here for the people that want to be here. I cannot allow a few people to sway me.”
In their words

“Maurice's program is one that I highly recommend. Here's why – Maurice goes through the process and works with you. He's a hands-on person and passionate about what he does. For you – he's the person where you will leave with a great deal of value. He over delivers and delivers big time.”
“We brought Maurice DiMino in for his program because we needed to motivate and re-energize our team. He gave us exactly what we needed and asked for. I would highly recommend for any company, organization to bring Maurice in to share his philosophy to supercharge their team.”
“Maurice DiMino immediately captured the full attention of our organization at the start of his presentation. He effectively engaged the audience all throughout the session with his educational and fun approach in delivering his presentation. He has a unique style of presentation in the sense that he treats his audience with respect and effectively demonstrates his sincerity of wanting to help the audience improve.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed Maurice DiMino's seminar. I fully expected to be lectured to, but was delighted by the time we finished. All of the exercises were insightful and the methods of causing others to interact were superb.”
Afterwards
Three outcomes, in the words of the people who booked him.
Became president of a national organization
“I am not the same person as I was when I began! – I want to thank Maurice DiMino for his help, patience and the ability to move me out of my comfort zone into my success zone. His training and coaching is well worth the time, money and effort. I know because of him I am now the President of national recognized organization.”
Judy Ann Von ArbPresident, San Fernando Chapter, Women Council of Realtors
Management team asked him back to Dubai
“Our management team was very much inspired by Maurice DiMino's energy and his entire training module. It was great on the fundamentals of being an effective leader and the habits to follow. Our team will benefit from his training and accomplish our property goals. Maurice's training was in alignment of the Marriott philosophy. We look forward to welcoming him back in the future.”
Khaled Al JamelGeneral Manager, Marriott Al-Jaddaf, Dubai, UAE
Booked to return and “super-charge our team again”
“I found Maurice DiMino's session on Leadership to be very effective in what we were experiencing at our company. He listened to our needs during our pre-calls and it was great to see and hear them in action in the meeting room. Maurice is a modern day Jim Rohn! He has his own philosophies and techniques that are easy to understand and implement. We look forward to having him come back and super-charge our team again. Thank you Maurice!”

A client with no big tip to share, only a story about a jungle trip, got invited back anyway -- a short case for keeping a running story file.
A three-part framework -- Research, Significance, Summary -- for building a short, meaningful opening talk out of almost no time at all.
A $10 travel clock, kept next to the laptop as a discreet way to track time on stage -- a small, low-tech fix for a common presentation problem.
The difference between glancing around a room and 'true eye contact' -- landing on one person and finishing a thought with them, as demonstrated by a Toastmasters speaker.
