Most people insist they 'don't speak in public' -- while answering a question about it, out loud, in public. A short nudge toward naming your core message.

When I am out in public, I love asking people “What is their core message?” And the majority of people have the same answer: “I don't speak in public.”

Isn't it interesting that to answer my question… they had to speak in public!

I believe William Shakespeare said it best: The world is a stage and I am a mere performer on it.

Yes, to a degree we are performing when asked about our product or service. Yes, we do need to be prepared.
